Determine if the initial application was sound in planning terms in the first place and stood a reasonable chance of success. |

Reduce future costs by checking the reasons for refusal are valid and success on appeal is unlikely e.g. on green belt / green field. |

Provide an amended scheme - with better design, lower density etc. that will address the reasons for refusal and is likely to succeed on application. |

Review the reaction to the previous scheme, the neighbours' or planners' resistance and advise if success on appeal is likely. |
